If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. Deletion discussion about Anti-Taiwan independence sentiment[edit]

Hello, Donghem, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Ibjaja055, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Anti-Taiwan independence sentiment, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anti-Taiwan independence sentiment.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Ibjaja055}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Lizikuan[edit]

Hi, can you please indicate where you got the information and/or text of the article Lizikuan from? The two sources you added only verify a minimal portion of the facts, and you clearly have based your text on some other source(s). Fram (talk) 11:19, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, my text was obtained by translating the Chinese Wikipedia lizikuan(zh). There are only two sources for the original article, so I have very few sources for my article. I will find other sources to supplement my article. Thank you for your message. Donghem (talk) 14:51, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jiang Zuobin moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Jiang Zuobin, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from one or more pages to another page. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. For example: Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk pages of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, please add attribution retrospectively for that also, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. (t · c) buidhe 17:55, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Concern regarding Ming Dynasty Zheng family[edit]

Dear Donghem

Hello!

I have read your translated article, Ming Dynasty Zheng Family, and the grammar correction software Grammarly, which the professor introduced, is really good. It can correct grammar problems in your article and make it more like an encyclopedia. The fit of the links can be corrected based on the Template: Interlanguage link.
