Foes of Ali

I've found the review and I'll type it up (give me a day or so), but I'll warn you if you love this game it's not going to be fun reading. Edge are hard to please but back in 1996 they were really hard to please and I think the day they came to review FoA they must have not only got out of the wrong side of bed but also tripped over the cat, fell down the stairs and then opened the fridge to find there was no milk left. Okay, nice one. Thanks mate! But hey, it doesn't bother me. Everyone has different tastes! I seem to remember reading the review in a newsagents absolutely ages ago.. they said something like "it captures the spirit of boxing, but not the atmosphere." or something. By the way, wouldn't it be easier to like, scan it, or take a couple of pics of the review or something? Or does that infringe on copyright or something? Anyway, thanks again. There are a couple of reasons for typing it 1) not sure of the copyright situation and I'd have to upload or email it 2) I'm a bit of a obsessive for keeping my magazines in good condition so bending the spines flat to place on a scanner is a non-starter 3) I like providing them typed because you can copy and paste what you need for the article and I'll also provide you with an already filled in citation like these User:X201/reviews - X201 18:37, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Okay, awesome. Hey, don't suppose you've got (or know of) any stuff in any magazines about the development of Foes of Ali do you? I've started the article, and it's okay, but it doesn't really say anything about how the game was made.Doom jester 19:03, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Victorious Boxers

Thank you for the kind words you left on Talk:Victorious Boxers: Ippo's Road to Glory. I put a lot of work researching and rewriting that article. If you have any ideas to improve it please feel free to contribute. It's on my list of articles to try to get to Good Article status, but is currently at the bottom. If you'd like, after I'm done with some articles I'm currently working on, I can offer a new pair of eyes to revise the articles you mentioned. I know that helped get Victorious Boxers further along. Cool. Yeah, well the boxing games section on wikipedia really does suck, so it was refreshing to see a decent article like yours. I reckon I'll edit your article a bit when I get the time. But like I said, when you think about how popular many of these games have been, it's not so great that wikipedia barely has anything on them. For example the Fight Night and Knockout Kings articles are pathetic, yet the games have sold pretty well, as far as I know. About the articles I've done.. yeah, I really need to get some info on the development of them. Need some old games mags or something.
