Request reason:

Please can you check this and unblock me as I am not a sock puppet: I have no connection at all to the account Tobias Conradi. Sorry if I clicked something wrong while editing (I can't imagine what) but I'm an inexperienced user and was not aware of any problem. I did have to make several attempts to log in recently because of apparent password problems, but I don't know how that would have triggered the problem.

The only other thing I can think of as a possible cause might be that I have occasionally worked off a diverted IP number, using Bit Guard VPN - maybe I at some point used this and then edited a page. I was not aware that this was not allowed, but if that is so I apologise!

Thanks in advance,

Decline reason:

The block was based on checkuser results, and unlike most people you have at least provided a plausible reason why those might have turned out the way they did. However, someone else with checkuser authority will have to review them; I don't have it. — Daniel Case (talk) 18:06, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Daniel, or whoever other adminstrators may be concerned, Thanks for the response. I would still be grateful if someone (Arbitration Committe, I think, if I understood the guidelines right) could take a closer look at this. I have been only an occasional contributor so far (everyone has to start somewhere) but all the articles I edited were in good faith. As I said, I may on the odd occasion have used Bit Guard VPN at the time I was editing (I don't know if I did) but I was unaware of any instruction or advice not to do that.

So I can only repeat what I said before: I have nothing to do with the profile Tobias Conradi. Hope you can check that with closer scrutinity of IP details and any other editing data you may have.
