Face down[edit]

The position of "facedown" or "face down" does not preclude the head being turned or moved, it is a reference to the "face" of their entire body. It is colloquialism for the prone position (compared to supine, or analogous to prostrate).[1] In any case we mirror the wording of the sources provided.
