Welcome![edit]

Hello, Ebaleto, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Note[edit]

Hi! I wanted to drop a quick note - I saw that you left your peer review on the article's talk page, however the review is traditionally supposed to be in your sandbox or the sandbox talk page. I've moved it over to your sandbox talk page.

Looking at the article you chose to edit (Transmedia storytelling), I think that you chose well. There's a lot in the article that needs to be improved, one of which is to make the article read more like an encyclopedia, as there have been concerns that it reads too much like original research or an essay. My main cautions here would be to make sure that you're using the most reliable sources you can find and that you only summarize what has been stated in the source material. Also, make sure that you don't get caught up by any original research or essay type writing that is in the article.

I would definitely use JSTOR to find sources since they are selective about the content they have on their site. For example, this would make an excellent source, as would this. A search for the term brought up many sources on JSTOR. I did take a quick look through your school library and brought up some promising results as well. Be careful of what you find on the Internet as not everything that's brought up will be considered to be reliable. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:28, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
