The use of the word recent[edit]

Hello! Thanks for your lovely work on Climate change in Africa. Really important topic to be developed. I noticed you inserted the following phrase: and the recent period which has seen a partial rainfall recovery. To prevent Wikipedia to get outdated soon, we typically try to avoid words as recent. Instead, the period is specified, so that the sentence remains valid for a longer period of time. Keep up the good work and give me a shout if you need any further help!
