Signing your comments

Hi, I've undone your edit here. It's important that you sign your posts so other editors know who they're responding to. --NeilN talk to me 18:43, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Me again :-) There's no need to change the timestamp if you're making minor changes to your comment (filling in the edit summary would be helpful though). Any major changes should not be done on existing comments; instead, a new comment should be added. --NeilN talk to me 19:07, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the tips! :) Edit contributor 999 (talk) 20:05, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for sockpuppetry. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

I'll be brief. I am not a sock puppet of "wikiuser999111" and don't know why you believe I am. You haven't given a reason. I'll admit that the number after my name sounds slightly similar, but I tried "edit contributor" and it was unavailable, so I thought of putting some numbers after it. I also don't see how my contributions log shows that I am a sock puppet of this user. I just noticed that there's been a lot of activity on this article lately and there are still some unsourced quotes. Also, "treasurytag" has undone my changes, leaving the unsourced quotes I removed back in the article, which is funny, when this user has been moaning a lot on the talk page to "wikiuser......" about unsourced quotes. I think you must have blocked my account because my username seems similar to "wikiuser999111" and you've been blocking a lot of accounts to do with this article lately. Please remove this block ASAP, as I haven't done anything wrong (and the IP address block too). Thank you.

Decline reason:

Request reason:

"I will repeat my message since someone has just declined my reason but hasn't mentioned why, so could someone please reply again with a yes or no answer and give a reason. Once again, I am not a sock puppet of "wikiuser999111". I'll admit that the number after my name sounds slightly similar, but I tried "edit contributor" and it was unavailable, so I thought of putting some numbers after it. Decline reason:

It's not your username, it's your editing. I don't know what you mean by "a yes or no answer" if you don't get that the answer was already "no." This is an obvious attempt to get around the semi-protection of the page by getting an autoconfirmed sock. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:58, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have been denied an unblock twice now, but no-one's given a reason as to why I'm blocked, and what I'm doing that shows I'm a sock-puppet of "wikiuser999111". I went and looked at the edits of "wikiuser999111" and all of that users sock puppets, and the user was inserting many unsourced quotes. But if you look at the edits I made, I removed the sentences "wikiuser999..." had inserted, because there were no references mentioned. I don't see why people think I'm a sock puppet of this user since I've undone most of this users edits. A user called "treasurytag", who was moaning a lot in the talk page about there being no references for the article, has undone my edits, therefore putting the unsourced material I removed back into the article! I am not a sock puppet of "wikiuser999..." and still don't know why I've been blocked. Before you decide whether to still block me or not, please go and look at the changes I've made to the "List of Chucklevision Epsiodes" article", which proves that I am not a sock puppet. Thank you.

Decline reason:

After reviewing the edits of the two accounts, I am satisified that you were properly blocked. We generally don't go into details of how sockpuppets give themselves away, since it would make it easier for them to evade detection. But I can say that your preoccupations are awfully similar. This was your last unblock request; this page, too, will now be protected. Daniel Case (talk) 17:39, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
