Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Tricladida, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lang (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

We wanted to let you know that we've used one of your pictures in a project of ours: http://litpics.tumblr.com/post/19749430612/lit-the-boy-scouts-on-belgian-battlefields-by

We created a computer program to generate random pairings of sentences from public domain texts and public domain / creative commons images. Some of the pictures we've selected come from the Wikipedia Commons. All the pictures we select ourselves, but the pairings and the text are random. Of these pairings that are generated, we only post the most interesting combinations.

We welcome any feedback about our site.

Thanks for sharing your pictures,
Samantha and Patrick

Image Use[edit]

Greetings from Colorado, U.S.A., I am Orschstaffer, Orschstaffer (talk) 16:12, 5 June 2012 (UTC), O=MC4[reply]
Presently I am developing a School Assignment Project[1], for Orsch[2] and School Ambassador Project[3]. It is in its infancy stage and rapidly developing as I learn how to Improve Wikipedia[4]. If I researched correctly, the image is in your hands for deletion. Humbly I request Please do not delete this image as the assignment I am developing would benifit from this image[5]. Academically, the image will serve as visual aid in the learning methods[6] of the progressive, experiential and alternative education aspects of education. Thank You for considering this request.

The templates above consume enormous white space. Can such templates be appropriately sized to be visible yet unobtrusive?Orschstaffer (talk) 16:12, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Delete template[edit]

Hi Edsova. The {{delete}} template that was used on this page made it be listed in candidates for speedy deletion which it should not have done. I've removed it and left a note explaining how you can delete an image you have uploaded. Drop me a note if you have any questions. Thanks SmartSE (talk) 22:01, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I think you are requesting that File:Five_biology_branches.jpg is deleted right? Because the image is hosted on Wikimedia Commons, you need to ask there, as you already have done. You could speed things up by posting at Commons:Commons:VP asking someone to take a look. I can't delete it myself. SmartSE (talk) 22:06, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Taxoboxes missing class[edit]

Hi Eduard! I recently came upon a couple of articles you created and noticed the taxoboxes were missing the class. From your userpage you seem to have professional experience in the field (whereas platyhelminthology is far from my area of expertise!), so I leave open the possibility that there is an obscure practice of omitting the class that I am not aware of, but it is traditional to include the class, no? Intelligentsium 22:02, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! There is a reason for that, but maybe is not a right reason for the Wikipedia policies. The class Turbellaria is paraphyletic, it does not include the parasitic flatworms (Neodermata). The lack of the Class also happens in some "Reptilia" pages (like this one), I guess because the same reason (Reptilia is a paraphyletic class). The different taxonomic ranks should have an evolutionary/lineage/relationship meaning. However, if Wikipedia requires the 'traditional class', I will add it.--Edsova (talk) 22:27, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
