Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your note. Thank you for your interest in the article on Gery Chico. Thank you for surfacing your reporting relationship to the subject of the article, that is very helpful. In answer to your first question, we supply the reason for reverting changes at the time of the edit WP:ES. In answer to your second question, you are more than welcome to make the edits yourself, you need not send the proposed edits to me. On the other had I will help you make "corrections" if we can support them with reliable sources. I am in no privileged position with respect to this article, we are all editors. May I respectfully suggest that you understand the basics of the core policies WP:RS, WP:SELFPUB, WP:NOR, WP:BLP, WP:BLPSELF and WP:NOTPROMOTION. May I respectfully also suggest that you learn how to use the citation templates WP:CIT, edits that delete citations must be done with care. Let me know if you have questions. WP:AB may be relevant. Hugh (talk) 23:38, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

HughD,

As I stated I'm not familiar with the rules of Wikipedia. However, the wiki page contains information that is not correct. Is there anyway we could speak not over Wikipedia? It would be much appreciated because we want the world to have the correct information when it comes to Gery Chico.

The rules are important to being an effective editor and to having a fulfilling and fun experience. For example, you should thoroughly understand what "correct information" means in the context of WP, it may not be intuitive, see WP:RS. Many things are true which are not in WP because they are not in WP:RS, see WP:NOR. WP editors are not free to add material that is not in WP:RS. For example, if a RS says President we are not free to change it to Chairmen even if we believe President to be incorrect. It is best in starting out to be very reluctant to delete material including citations of WP:RS. If your goal is to ensure a favorable treatment of a subject, you may be frustrated because of the WP:NPOV Pillar. Many of your recent changes are edits that you have attempted previously and were reverted, see WP:EW. I do not have time for an edit war. No, sorry, we cannot speak not over WP. And please sign your posts. Thanks! Hugh (talk) 22:04, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Always provide an edit summary WP:ES Hugh (talk) 22:11, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Hugh (talk) 22:16, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
