Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Littlest Pet Shop (TV series)[edit]

Might wanna take another look at this AFD. The 2011 series was a hoax, but there was a 1995-1996 series that seems notable. I rewrote the article to reflect the 1995-1996 series. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 02:18, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RfC regarding User:Otis1017[edit]

Hello,

I noticed that you have been involved in the low-level edit war taking place on Garry's Mod and was hoping that you would take the time to weigh in on an RfC related to the dispute: Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Otis1017. I edited the right vs left sided politics. You are incorrect to undo my edit. The information was incorrect, so by me fixing something, that IS constructive. I know you are a liberal and you disagree, but that is the historical truth. Thank you.

Reseller links[edit]

Very commendable Elassint, and I'm sure you feel you are doing the right thing, but have you ever tried to SEO a site? What real harm is being done to put a link to a site if it is a relevant to the page topic? If you wrote an article about ecommerce and put a link to amazon at the bottom, it would never be removed. It's all a question of scale.

A MESSAGE TO DANIEL CASE??? FROM PIAVE137PIAUI94 REGARDING REMOVAL OF "Inforapid" Links[edit]

Hello Elassint:

I do not know if you are also Daniel Case; the "Case" message to me provided instructions on how to leave a message; unfortunately, the "Case" page is protected. So,...

I commend you for your courteous note which evinces behaviour different than that of "lugnuts" whose "userpage" language would prompt a chill in wanting to participate in Wikipedia. I mention "lugnuts" only because he was the first to remove the "inforapid" link that I inserted in the Alan Bridges article.

Let me first say that I can understand the need to have oversight about what is found on Wikipedia. Offensive language, misinformation, etc., do need attention and removal. I do, however, believe that your action--removing my links--was inappropriate. They were within the guidelines pertaining to Wikipedia's content: They helped enhance a further understanding of each articles contents and might well prompt the reader to do further research. Additionally, they evinced connections not found in the articles themselves which are insightful if not more.

It must also be said here that there are a number of other Wikipedia articles which include the "inforapid" links. Moreover they were made operable by other Wikipedia "administrators" which is something that I assume you are too. The foregoing suggests that including such links has already been vetted by Wikipedia. What precedes should provide some pause for thought for you to reconsider what you have done.

As stated on your talk page by Juila W those links do not meet our policy. Also, you provided them as references next to the names of the individuals in the first paragraph, which isn't the right way to format external links, even ones that do conform to our policy. Danial Bryan Height ....[edit]

Hey I edited Danial Bryan's(WWE) height once and it was reverted back.Once on RAW Danial himself admitted to being 5'8 tall.http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/pattisonave/WWE-Raw-results-8513-Randy-Orton-stands-tall-Daniel-Bryan-receives-corporate-makeover-CM-Punk-Brock-Lesnar-go-at-it-again.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.185.217.141 (talk) 00:34, 21 March 2014 (UTC) [reply]

That's an offhand mention on a blog, and thus not likely to be accepted as a reliable source as opposed to WWE's official statistics. Besides, I know nothing about WWE wrestlers. A better place to bring this up is Talk:Daniel Bryan -- Elassint Hi 00:28, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Pune, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Institution of Engineers (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:51, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Premature obituaries[edit]

Can you explain further why you deleted my addition to the premature obituaries article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.192.172.153 (talk) 14:01, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

First off, I apologize for reverting without a summary. That was clearly in error. However, while you have proven that his page was vandalized, it would be best to provide a source for the claim that his relative saw the page. Elassint Hi 16:45, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, First I am new to Wikipedia, I am just learning the ropes. I don't understand why you reverted Ross Mirkarimi's intro section, could you please inform me why this was done. I am attempting to take out double entries, the domestic violence part in the into section is fully covered in content #5 Thank you for your assistance. David Sloane — Preceding unsigned comment added by Friendsofross (talkcontribs) 21:14, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You don't seem to be using the talk page to defend your actions, and other editors are clearly annoyed with your removal of content. I reverted you because you seem to be edit warring with the multiple other users restoring the content rather than attempting to start a dialogue defending your actions. Please use the talk page rather than continuously reverting. Elassint Hi 22:21, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

````User:Utsid3sP1q3
I'm removing the links to "goingthruvinyl", "goingthruvinyl.com", and "Going Thru Vinyl" because I am the original editor and contributor to the blog site and my work has been stolen and is being kept by the owner of the site even at my expressed wishes to have all my work removed or else paid for.
I am the original editor of the links and references posted. All information posted to Wikipedia was done at the wishes of the owner of the site simply for advertisement, and done in such a way to disguise that intention from Wikipedia.
I respect the artists referenced, and I think that nothing will be lost by removing the info, and that the artists really may be better off by not being cited by a blog who's owner is insincere and unethical. (and who's insincerity comes through in the audio interviews .)
As well, one of the links listed had to list one of the owner's spelling of cigarettes incorrectly, which annoyed me considerably.
I realize that I am only one side of this party, and yes, disgruntled, but everything I've said is with absolute honesty.
Please allow the removal of goingthruvinyl.com from Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Utsid3sP1q3 (talkcontribs) 00:05, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
```` I will stop and wait for confirmation.

A barnstar for you![edit]

The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
First things first - are you the same "Elassint" on Wikia? If you are, I'm pleased to meet you. I'm an admin on two wikis on Wikia, and a reviewer+rollbacker here on Wikipedia. While doing my anti-vandalism patrols, I kept bumping into you, so I thought I'd give you a barnstar (why not?) for your efforts (and for making me rage when you beat me to a revert)! If only WikiLove existed in greater quantities on Wikia... K6ka (talk | contribs) 13:59, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ford Center (Houston)[edit]

You will not destroy our plans to bring hockey back to our city of Houston.We need the former Lakewood Church building to become the Ford Center to have the Houston Aeros hockey team come back to our city and we are actually a hockey city and we will be partnered with the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL. The Houston Aeros will be their AHL affiliate and our Aeros will stay in our city forever and for life. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 154.5.133.219 (talk) 02:47, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I can't and won't do anything to help or prevent hockey from coming back to Houston. It's just you cannot add information to wikipedia about things that don't exist yet and are merely planned to exist. See WP:CRYSTAL. Elassint Hi 02:52, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
