Chuck Wagon[edit]

They had a chart single, and there was a situation involving naming rights between them and another band that may be notable as well. I left their name as a red link because I plan to make a page on them (the Lyric Street band and the other band both seem notable enough). Ragsdale, on the other hand, never released anything on the label, so they're unlikely to ever have a page. Red links don't necessarily need to be removed unless there's no chance of them ever turning blue. Chuck Wagon and the Wheels are rather likely to be a bluelink someday, so their red link can stay. Country stuff[edit]

Why thank you, that's nice of you! Yeah I noticed most of older country artists have poor articles. I believe discographies should be made for the older country artists, since they're of course the ones who started it all for the newer artists. It upsetted me to see that no one takes interest in these people, so that's why I do it. I actually have no time, hah isn't that funny, yet I can still do it in the late afternoons. I'm usually home in the afternoons since I'm still in high school, plus extra curricular activities. To answer your other question, I actually know most of the older artists' chart positions because I go on websites that list singles charts for older artists called lpdiscography.com and sometimes rocky-52.net. They will show most of the chart positions from when they were most successful. The other chart positions I ask user:Eric444 for, since he has the book of the Billboard Country singles (1944 - 2006), and can tell me the ones I missed.

I'm always updating articles for them, but some new ones too, well it actually depends on what you consider new. I revamped Trisha Yearwood's article and discography in April because Trisha's one of my favorites and her article before my revisions stunk. My most recent article imrovement projects were Wanda Jackson and Connie Smith, don't know if you're familiar with them. And yes I have seen your name appear in the past edits I have made to pages, you seem to be pretty good. I likeed your improvements to Jamie O'Neal's page. I like how legit it is now. I can see you are a memeber of the country elite editors on Wikipedia (me, user:TenPoundHammer, user:Eric444, user:BravesFan2006, and user:Caldorwards4). We're the only ones who edit and really want to improve these articles, can you believe it? Unreleased album[edit]

It's a bit of original research to say that a certain song was actually on an album. For instance, there's no proof that Jimmy already had a second album in the chute when "That's All I'll Ever Need" charted, but there is evidence that "Can't You Tell" by Diamond Rio was included on the unreleased album of the same name. US Main[edit]

How is "US Main" improper? Can you give your reasons? Why should we include # of positions in the name? I don't think it will be confused with "Mainstream Rock Tracks" because it should be indicated "US Main Rock" as I did in Kid Rock discography. Also I don't like to use "US Top 40" because we don't know if it is Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks or Mainstream Top 40. T40 is meaningless. Your edit did not constitute a "fix", it was actually a lot closer to vandalism. You just removed a dozen references, that were just added 30 mins prior, this frustrates me. It was done the way it is meant to be, so please leave it that way. Please view this for clarification, or any featured discography. The references were in correct place, so please do not remove them, even if you did intend on replacing them in the top section, it was unnecessary and does not help the clarity of what each source is referring to. Dashes[edit]

I would highly recommend to use this style of the m dashes when you fix up a singles chart: — , instead of what you have been doing, which was using a semi-colon and writing out m dash. Don't cut yourself short. Joey + Rory got kept, didn't it? You're still fairly new (you haven't been here a full year, right?), you'll make some mistakes. I had a lot of articles made in my first year that got deleted, and it took me a long time to realize that you can only use fairuse images in certain instances. Okay, the issue seems to be that you're adding dashes for cases where chart positions are unknown. Dashes are only for songs that didn't chart, not for unknown chart positions. We don't have proof that such-and-such song didn't chart in Canada between November 2000 and June 2004, so it's best to just leave the CAN Country fields blank (not dashed) until we find a source to verify those missing chart positions. That would be featured list you're thinking of, since discography = list. Anyway, I think it's possible, although it certainly needs more sources (the CAN peaks, for example). I think it would be better to try and get Cyrus' article to at least GA class first, which would certainly take more effort. If something can't be found (like the CAN peaks from 2000 to 2004), then it can just be omitted. Diamond Rio discography had everything else sourced, from music videos (best source: CMT) to album appearances. I haven't looked at his discography in a while, so I don't know what still needs sourcing. There is a manual of style for discographies, but it's just a proposed guideline so far. Go ahead and see if anything else needs sourcing, then I'll give it a once over and see if it's ready to go to FL. Using notes is a much better way of doing something. Did you tell TenPoundHammer about the problem like I told you to? I'm planning on fixing those albums on LeAnn's page to look like the way it does on artists like Billy Currington's page you know.

"It doesn't make the album table look BIG, if anything more detailed. It's on the Diamond Rio discography (a featured Wiki article), and it's something that's recommended. Most GOOD discographies outside of country music have this in them and I believe we should have them too. The people at the Daimond Rio discography must be correct if they put it there. When you make these album tables you think, what does the reader want to see, and knowing an album's format, release date, where it was released or anthing else should belong in these albums tables, I'm pretty sure. You were being very RUDE but I don't mind. I will explain my reasons here. I will drop color coding becasue it is not common in discographies. What I really want to do is clarify 3 situations using different denotations. Originally we don't put any thing in the boxes and there are 3 different meanings.

releases that did not chart.
DID CHART, but peaks are unknown (and probably will never be known)
the chart did not exist when the singles are released. (Pop 100 and CAN HOT 100)

And we only use dashes in situation #1. However you and some other guys just keep adding dashes and fill the boxes. If you put dashes in situation #2 it makes no senses becausue we know it DID CHART. It is also wierd that we put dashes in situation #3 because the chart didn't even exist, how can a single chart?

I just think we should use a different denotation for "not certified" as we did in Carrie Underwood discography. Just as User:Omghgomg said, dashes have alrealy represented something else. When Carrie Underwood discography was becoming a feature artist, I even argued with this guy, if you remember.

So I just add some different bullets to represent those situations. I use * to represent situation #2, blank for #3 and × for certificaitons. Also I just put every explanatory words at the beginning of the article (legend table) because I HATE TO REPETE THINGS OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Please do not complain my edits with other users. If you have problems you can talk to me DIRECTLY.

Also if you don't reply soon I will start add those bullets soon.

Also I don't like adding a lot of imformations for albums but I don't care know.

Also, can we stop adding album formats (CD, etc...)? It is really ...... and no one will care what format it is released. In Carrie Underwood we did not put those informations. Also I really don't like repete things over and over again, can we keep "All albums released on XXXX" instead writing over and over again? It wiill make people confuse. I strongly suggest that we drop the album formats. Well, "—" only means releases that did not chart, but I think the chart DID exist during 2000 to 2004 period. You can ask User:Eric444, He is the only one who knows. In that case, We are sure some country songs DID CHART, but we don't know the peaks. The song didn't fail to chart or didn't even release. I think we should put another bullet for that. Maybe "*". Also about albums, The positions are ALWAYS EXIST. Billboard only keep Top 25 positions of Canadian Singles Chart, but acutally there are 200 positions. So during 2000 to present, we don't know if the album charted or not. Maybe the albums peaked at #60, but we will never know. It is the same for country albums chart.

For the "not exist" situation, I think blank is okay. Just make an explanatory sentence and people will know. Also I don't like to merge certifications into a column because country artists are only active in U.S. and Canada (some in Australia).
