DYK[edit]

Hi, thanks for checking the DYK for Acanthoplus discoidalis - I've replied to your comments: Template_talk:Did_you_know#Acanthoplus_discoidalis. Smartse (talk) 18:22, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the notice. I added some info and reworded a couple things so I think it should make the 1500 character minimum now. Please let me know if you need me to change anything else. --Kumioko (talk) 18:42, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note, the article was expanded on 18 August and is now over 1500 characters. Jezhotwells (talk) 15:27, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for notifying me. I've done some more work on the article. Is it at 5x yet?--The Phantom In Church (talk) 03:57, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay cool. I've cited both the quote and the fact seperatley. Are we good to go with the article? By the way, I think your hook should be used. Thanks.--The Phantom In Church (talk) 07:22, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DYK nomination of Chris Limahelu[edit]

Thanks for the heads-up. I have shortened the hook at my nomination's entry without lessening its information.[1]. Best, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 17:27, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And thank you also for the tweaks to the article itself. Much appreciated. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 17:31, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay... I believe I am there with the Chris Limahelu article... having now taken the 759 characters (141 words) "readable prose size" of June 20, and expanding it to 4229 characters (726 words) "readable prose size". It was not too difficult, as there is much available about this fellow... just tooksome time. Advice? Any additional concerns? Thanks, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 02:30, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You should come hang out with us on the internetz![edit]

Hi! I wanted to let you know that we have created an IRC channel for "countering systemic bias one new editor at a time", aka closing the gender gap! Come hang out at #wikimedia-gendergap if that subject interests you. We hope this channel can serve as a safe haven to hang out, talk about Wiki, brainstorming, increasing women's participation in Wikimedia, article alerts and foster friendships. I hope you join us! (And if you need any IRC help, just let me know!) See you there! SarahStierch (talk) 22:38, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
