About your edits[edit]

You correct some errors but create new ones. If you need help, just ask my good friend @Sammi Brie:. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 12:53, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Mvcg66b3r I just looked at several of his edits, and they were for the most part fine. You did not need to bring down the revert hammer on all of them. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 18:12, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I have partially reverted your edit to Embassy: You changed the name of a cigarette, Embassy Number 1 Red to something which was not its name, and also you changed a word from the usual British English version to the usual American English version and, as the subject is primarily British, that was probably unnecessary. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Happy days, ~ LindsayHello 19:23, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Spacing between unit number and symbols[edit]

Please note that MOS:UNITSYMBOLS indicates that a non-breaking space ( ) is preferred between unit numbers and unit symbols. Hence, do consider refraining from omitting spaces between unit numbers and unit symbols (as you did at Special:Diff/1150033836). WikiEditor50 (talk) 06:53, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits[edit]

Hello Erudite Enquirer. I have looked at your contributions and want to take a moment to urge you to please be more careful: I have looked at three and in each of those i have found something either careless or wrong or not an improvement to the writing. I suggest that, if you have not (and it looks to me as though you haven't), you take some time to look at and read and digest our Manual of Style, so that you can edit within our established style and guidelines. They are almost certainly not, in their entirety, those you were taught at school, as they are a combination of guidelines from differing styles and varieties of English from around the world.
I notice that someone above has suggested that you are making some mistakes in your edits; since you consistently use the summary "CE for grammar and punctuation" making errors is a pity.
If i can help in any way, please ask, either me at my talk page or here, or at the teahouse or elsewhere. Meantime, though i don't wish you to feel threatened or troubled, i will tell you that i am going to look at some more of your edits and i truly hope i will find quality work in all of them. Happy days, ~ LindsayHello 07:35, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Lindsay, thank you for your notes. I am sorry for any issues created. I can assure you I have been following the guidelines as best as I can and be bold in editing. I will try to keep my eye on the guidelines and the general appearance of the articles. I see the point and feel sorry. I will do my best. --Erudite Enquirer (talk) 16:04, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thanks for creating this. You used the translation template correctly. I can see that the page 1998 World Junior Championships in Athletics – Men's 100 metres has automatically connected with this article because in the section “Heat One” an athlete called Myo Myint Oo took part. I doubt that this was the same person, but if you can find any Burmese sources to tell us whether it was the same person or a different person with the same name, that would be very helpful. Thank you Mccapra (talk) 20:48, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Pwong San[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Pwong San. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Pwint San. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Pwint San. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Htanaungg (talk) 04:37, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
