June 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at 5G. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. No: I did a wrong manip. by mistake: clicked "undo" on an old and already reverted content. So in reality you are adding back very inappropriate content that was not there. Do you think that sentences like:

" And Why Are People So Scared of It? Here's What You Need to Know|url=...." have their place in Wikipedia? Probably not. --Escain (talk) 14:09, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have been warned, and in particular you should know from reading the links that there are very few strictly-defined exemptions to allow continual reversion. Alexbrn (talk) 14:43, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Black Kite (talk) 11:05, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Partial block[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing 5G for a period of 72 hours for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:22, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Your disputed edits have been reverted by a number of editors. 72 hours should be plenty of time for you to get consensus on the article talk page for the changes you wish to make to the article. If after the block has expired you still have not achieved such consensus, you need to ensure you do not just keep edit warring to restore it.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:22, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
