Welcome[edit]

Hello, Fakecatholic, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} and your question on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

We hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

We here at wikipedia do not "censor"[edit]

And while you may find issue with another user's profanity, there is no outright ban on it. On top of that editing someone else's statements on a talk page, especially to censor out anything you don't like (which includes profanity), is strongly discouraged by wikipedia and not allowed.

Thanks.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 21:56, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your "purpose"[edit]

Please be aware that your personal crusade to curb profanity from discussion pages is considered vandalism in itself. While it is an interesting view, it will not be welcomed with open arms. Just do your best to improve the actual articles and partake in discussions, while resisting the urge to edit other user's profanity. As mentioned above, Wikipedia is not censored, and no user has any right to bring down the wrath on another's potty mouth. Gpia7r (talk) 14:23, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

re: your comment on KfM's talkpage[edit]

Wikipedia doesnt sensor, but that doesnt mean you wont get banned for flaming somebody.

  • "Your a peice of **** editor. You need to ****** go back to where you ****** came from and get off the ****** wiki!" - Ban
  • "I dont really give a **** whether this has over 9000 results on Google. Its not notable" - Fine.
