Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Feuerman. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Ian Feuer, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 19:04, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! To write messages to other users, please use their "User talk" pages, not the User pages. You should put your new posts at the bottom, and sign them with ~~~~. - Kautilya3 (talk) 14:13, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

COI[edit]

Feuerman, hopefully you're reading your talk page. Do note that all your edits are likely to be reverted because of COI and sourcing issues. A better strategy for you would be to use the article talk page to suggest changes and then let someone else make those changes on the Ian Feuer page. You don't really want to waste your time here. Regards. --regentspark (comment) 15:46, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
