While I think that the subject was extremely controversial and made national headlines, i think it's still TBD whether the subject will have any perpetual influence in the university's development as a whole historically. Although, if the slashing incident was mentioned, i don't see how this is much different. But i'm not too familiar with wikipedia's rules regarding the edits of information with such content.
We should try to avoid the supression of information however. If we wish to supress this piece of the university's history, we should have very good reasons for doing so. I'm still unconvinced of what our reasons for doing that are, but again, i'm not too familiar with wikipedia's rules regarding such matters
