"Most points in one game"[edit]

The reason why overtime games are noted with asterisks is that they take longer to finish, hence there are more opportunities to increase a player's stats. So if a player breaks a record in OT, it should be noted, with the best regulation time game still included. Now if another player breaks the regulation-time record in OT, but it doesn't break the record achieved in OT (assuming the record via OT is better than the regulation-time record), it shouldn't be included. –Howard the Duck 02:10, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PBA team roster templates[edit]

Flags represent their schools. Ergo, studied in the U.S. = U.S. or some other flag, not the Philippine flag. I've emphasized these at edit summaries enough, please read and utilize that feature. Thanks. –Howard the Duck 01:34, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Finished Game Log Templates[edit]

Hello again, Fighter! I finished converting these templates from the NBA templates:
Template:PBA color
Template:PBA color cell
Template:PBA color cell2
Template:PBA game log start
Template:PBA game log section
Template:PBA game log end
Template:PBA roster statistics legend

The game log templates will now come out with the right color for each PBA team. They already work at 2008–09 Air21 Express season and 2008–09 Barangay Ginebra Kings season. Use these instead of the NBA ones. I hope this helps. Mk32 (talk) 14:18, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Professionals vs Amateurs[edit]

Articles on people who are, or who were, professional basketball players... those are fine. Articles on 14-year-old boys who will probably be professional basketball players in the future... no. Not until they actually are professionals. I deleted 2 of the +40 articles that you created in the past month, for exactly that reason.

"Future Star" is a prediction. It's not definite.

Another point is that... well, look here. You said that Arigo has a bad season last year (okay, maybe he did, although that's kind of subjective), and that it was Favis's fault. If you want to write a Wikipedia article that blames one man for something another man did, you will need to supply proof. Otherwise it's a violation of our policies on the biographies of living persons.

I've finished re-making the NBA All-Star template. It is here at Template:Infobox PBAAllStarGame. I made the parameters for "arena", "national anthem", "referees", "halftime show", "attendance", and "announcers" only optional.

The only options required to be filled out are "date", "MVP", "city (host)", "network (TV)", and the quarter scores for the two teams.
