Welcome![edit]

Hello, Filmwijker (that's me!), and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Laurence Jones (musician) have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 23:41, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

September 2019[edit]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. If you have such a source to verify the information you added to the Steve Goble article then please let me know and we can take a look at changing the article. Please let me know if you have any questions or queries. Thanks, GiantSnowman 10:02, 6 September 2019 (UTC) I added his records at SC Veendam. One can find these in the book"'Aan de Langeleegte', ISBNumber 9789067970518 by Jan Mulder.[reply]

January 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Robby.is.on. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Uli Maslo, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Robby.is.on (talk) 18:43, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Tony McNulty (footballer) article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 13:58, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I used the books with ISBNumbers 9789067970518, 9073667615, 9020407309 and 9789491555145. What more van I do, apart from mention them? Filmwijker (talk) 14:11, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(cc @GiantSnowman:) Filmwijker, mentioning them in your edit summary or here is not at all sufficient. You need to use them in the article, preferably as WP:Inline references. Content on Wikipedia needs to be verifiable for readers: "All material in Wikipedia mainspace, including everything in articles, lists and captions, must be verifiable. All quotations, and any material whose verifiability has been challenged or is likely to be challenged, must include an inline citation that directly supports the material.". Robby.is.on (talk) 16:58, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, please see WP:How to cite sources. GiantSnowman 17:12, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Filmwijker, again, citing references in the edit summary as you did in your edits at Tonny van Leeuwen is insufficient. You need to add them to the article as WP:inline citations. I've added your reference to the career statistics table for you.
Your Talk page is full of attempts to help you understand Wikipedia editing policies and edit constructively but it seems you have ignored most of it. If you continue to edit disruptively, I will ask for you to be blocked from editing per WP:CIR. Robby.is.on (talk) 08:47, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You have been asked before to speak English. You have also been told before about adding unsourced content to BLPs.

@GiantSnowman I am sorry, that the source is in Dutch. Filmwijker (talk) 21:30, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The source being in Dutch is not a problem. What is a problem is 1) you communicating in Dutch and 2) you not adding sources to articles. GiantSnowman 21:31, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@GiantSnowman the source: https://www.almeredezeweek.nl/nieuws/sport/56813/etemadi-wordt-keeperstrainer-van-almere-city Filmwijker (talk) 21:25, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Then why didn't you add it to the article? GiantSnowman 21:28, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
