Hello, I saw your most recent edit on Citizens' Commission to Investigate the FBI, noting that there are apparently security cameras now at the site of the event. Do you have a source for this claim? Your addition was unsourced, and given its recency, I thought you may know where the information so it can be added to the article (assuming it as a reliable source). I think it would also be interested in understanding what you see of the relevancy of the statement, other than its irony. Thank you. aismallard (talk) 04:07, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My source is -- and I know this probably breaks some Wikipedia rule -- direct observation.
I stood on the sidewalk in front of the building in question -- the former FBI building in Media, PA -- and observed security cameras. Fionn 07:38, 15 October 2022 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but that does not count as a reliable source. As explained in WP:TRUTH, Wikipedia is not a collection of things which are true, they must also be verifiable. If a news article wrote about the security camera, then that could be cited and other readers could verify the article in question says that.
Regarding alternate evidence such as you taking a photograph of the cameras, bear in mind WP:NOR, which explains why "original research" (as it's called) is not permitted on Wikipedia. aismallard (talk) 21:07, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Thingsmajoroo[edit]

Hello, Fionnbharr

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Thingsmajoroo for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
