Happy First Edit Day!

Villa Angela-St Joseph High School

Information icon Hello, I'm Gab4gab. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Your restored an unsourced list of rivals without providing reliable secondary sourcing. Gab4gab (talk) 01:43, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

You removed unsourced rivalry material from the article body in September of 2020. I'm surprised that you want to retain the remnants in the infobox. Gab4gab (talk) 01:49, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
What I removed in September 2020 were very lengthy descriptions of both rivalries and non-rivalries of VASJ. Thank you for bringing to my attention the need for sources for their actual rivalries, which have since been added. Frank AnchorTalk 03:13, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

Russel Wilson 100 Wins

Why are you considering it vandalism if you are 1 person who wants it there but 2 people don't want it there, the people who don't want it there would win since they have more people. Can you just stop the edit war and remove it. it isn't that big of a deal.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.45.53.250 (talkcontribs) 20:06 7 October 2021 (UTC)

First of all, Wikipedia discussions are NOT votes, so your 2-against-1 argument is invalid. And even so, you may not have seen that your comrade, User:Fynsta changed his/her tone due to the inclusion of "milestones" in the section. (apologies if I misrepresented Fynsta's opinion). And you claim that it is not a big deal, yet you are the one making a big deal about the inclusion of this important milestone. Please remember to sign your posts in the future. Cowboys-Vikings Rivalry

Hello!! I'm sorry to bother you on your talk page; I wanted to ask you if my comments below your most recent text on that page were appropriate, in that the page is not to determine whether the rivalry is in fact a rivalry, but whether it is noteworthy enough for its own page. I'm a little new to the AfD pages but that's what I gathered. Just looking for some guidance. Thank you! Spf121188 (talk) 16:34, 15 November 2021 (UTC)

PS, happy late Birthday!Spf121188 (talk) 16:34, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for your message. I think those are valid points you bring up on the AFD. Frank AnchorTalk 17:30, 15 November 2021 (UTC)

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:23, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

Edits made on No pitch

Hi, if you wish to continue the discussion regarding the line on the article, please do so on the talk page rather than insult other editors and be vulgar in the edit description. Please try to be constructive on Wikipedia and do not antagonize those who disagree with you. I will also remind you that you appear to be in the minority regarding the issue as many others (including an administrator) do not think the edit is appropriate. AllTheMegahertz (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 19:44, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

You are correct, my last edit was out of character and I apologize if you considered it to be a personal attack. However, many editors have voiced their opinion on both sides (based on the talk page and edits adding/removing the quote) and its obvious that no consensus has been reached on the matter. Packers-Steelers rivalry

Hi Frank Anchor,

I am not done with the Packers-Steelers rivalry, so can you give me until the end of the day to complete it and then you can talk about deleting it. I know I do not have enough sources or the notable games section started, but that is what I was going to spend doing today. Just so you know I probably will start working on it in a couple hours. Can you please give me an opportunity though to finish it before it is nominated for the articles of deletion.

Thanks, MichaelPackBrewGuy (talk) 14:04, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

If you add relevant content and reliable sources that establish it as a “rivalry” per WP:NRIVALRY and WP:GNG, then I will consider withdrawing the nomination Frank Anchor 14:09, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

Brandon Brown

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Brandon Brown (racing driver). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -"Ghost of Dan Gurney" 15:26, 21 December 2021 (UTC)

I will disregard this message from a user who violated his/her self-imposed topic ban on self-imposed disengagement of the topic of “Let’s Go Brandon” Frank Anchor 16:31, 21 December 2021 (UTC)
Stating that I was disengaging is not a "self-imposed topic ban" and doesn't mean that you weren't in an edit war lmao. -"Ghost of Dan Gurney" 16:53, 21 December 2021 (UTC)
