- 1. Blue Ridge is still in Fort Bend County
- 2. Houston city annexed Blue Ridge
- 3. Houston County, Texas is not in the Greater Houston area. It is in the hill country to the north
- 4. Most of Houston is in Harris County, Texas
- 5. Counties don't usually annex other counties
