Belated welcome to Wikipedia!

You came to my attention when I saw that your edits to Thermal power station had been reverted. Maybe you would like to work on the Wikia version, where we are much less critical!

Inline citations[edit]

Hallo there, this is a response to your post on Editor Assistance. To add an inline reference you simply need to add a link enclosed in <ref> </ref> tags and write "<references />" under a references header at the bottom of the article. You can also expand on this by using the {{cite web}} template.

For example:

  • A simple version, giving ref #1.[1]
  • A more complex version, giving ref #2.[2]

References[edit]

  1. ^ http://www.google.com
  2. ^ "Google". Google. Retrieved 2008-05-05.

If you check what I've written here you should be able to see how to use the templates :) I have added a reference to your article here to get you started. Hope this helps! naerii - talk 15:59, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

February 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm BilCat. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Marine steam engine, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
