Please do not remove sourced info that is negative about Chris Rix. It is against WIkipedia policies. Aaron Bowen (talk) 08:46, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

August 2010[edit]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Chris Rix, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. I have reverted your recent edit to Chris Rix. I'll try to explain my reasoning, and what you've added that can be kept.

  1. Spring Valley - I've put that back in, but by any chance, do you actually have a source for that? See below
  2. Highlights section - Please add sources for this stuff. Some of it is flat out false.
  3. The ESPN link - Why are you removing it?
  4. "generally known as" - He either is something, or he isn't. I'd prefer to list what he is, and not what he is known as - especially in the lead sentence.
  5. NCAA internal wikilink - The sentence is a lot clunkier when the initials are spelled out. It should remain the short way, unless you have a valid objection.
  6. Rix is also widely known as a coach, and sportscaster - This has been added back in.
  7. Career section - Sorry, but one of Wikipedia's main rules is to have a neutral point of view. You can't whitewash this stuff. If you continue to remove true, sourced information, you will continue to get reverted.
  8. Broadcasting career - Please add sources to back up your information. Otherwise it is fine.
  9. Same with the Coaching career section.

That's about it. Please respond here, and I'll get back to you. Also please don't tell me that your "family appreciates" me. I'm not sure why you continue to add/remove this stuff, but I don't think it's cause Rix himself told you to. Nolelover 20:38, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the Spring Valley birthplace. I don't think that's true. Please post a source if it is. Nolelover 00:11, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
