Tip on google trends comparisons[edit]

Hey FumiHayashi,

I saw your comparison of google search hits for "Pro-Taiwan (camp)" and "pro-ROC (camp)" on your page move request. While it is a good reflex to compare google search hits for two terms when suggesting a move, you did it incorrectly. This is because google searches for each words in your request independently, and even alone, make the "hits" number unreliable for multiple-word queries. The real way to do it is to enter two search terms on trends.google.com. This is what it looks like when you compare "pro-ROC" and "Pro-Taiwan". I suggest you edit your move request text to reflect this link, because it still makes your case, albeit less eloquently. Mottezen (talk) 06:56, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Commercial (First), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James Tien. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:50, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Hong Kong Island East (2021 constituency), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Category:Constituencies established in 2021 indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Ways to improve Dennis Lam[edit]

Hello, FumiHayashi,

Thank you for creating Dennis Lam.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Given that there are 1,500 members of the Election Committee and that there is no evidence of his ‘election’ to the NPC. It is hard to determine what he is actually notable for.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Dan arndt}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.
