BACH USERBOX[edit]

Hey, nice userbox for Bach. I'm not too good with images on Wikipedia, so I settled for "BACH OWNS", But your box is a large improvement. Good job. Wikitank (talk) 06:38, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:To-Lefty-From-Willie.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:To-Lefty-From-Willie.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:08, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Willie Nelson discography[edit]

Yes, I had noticed you were creating articles for every Willie Nelson album. I had a little time and tried to even double up your efforts trying to create a couple myself. Anyway, I believe I did what you wanted done on the discography page. Thanks. --Wolfer68 (talk) 01:18, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:Willie-Nelson-Milkcow-Blues.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Willie-Nelson-Milkcow-Blues.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 08:13, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In relation to the images[edit]

  • COA - If this is a german Govt work making it PD don't forget to update the licensing tag

and clarify the satus in the information for the file.. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:29, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Tute Images - Thanks for updating the permission. My concern with these images would now be the sourcing, I'm assuming the card designs shown are traditional ones and thus not subject to any claims

of copyright by the deck manaufacturers..

As I'm not an admin I can't close PUI disscussions (and thus I am not supposed to remove PUI tags on images), but I would strongly suggest you respond in the relevant threads, as this will help ensure the images are properly tagged, and that any concerns you can have can be resolved quickly..

If you feel happier talking with an admin directly, try User:J_Milburn,I've found a polite question or enquiry to them helps resolve quite a few issues with images I've encountered. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:29, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You should respond in the PUI threads which were linked in the notifications you recived :) Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:15, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello GDuwen! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 935 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Jorge Sapag - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Talofa from Wikiproject Sammoa[edit]

Hi GDuwen. I'm just saying hello and great you've added your name to wikiproject Polynesia, which seems rather loose I think and everyone does their own thing. I mainly contribute via Wikipedia:WikiProject Samoa, without any pressure (or organisation) if you feel like dropping in there, just in case. There's another editor User:Dr. Blofeld who is cool and experienced and helps out. Ciao! Teine Savaii (talk) 06:29, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Heartbreak Hotel[edit]

The article Heartbreak Hotel you nominated as a WP:Good Article status. Unfortunately, it failed as it needs more work. Please see the review page for what needs to be worked on. Please take the time and work on it. A tip, do not give up improving it. TbhotchTalk C. 02:38, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you feel this is in error, you may request a Good article reassessment or re-nominate it.

Heartbreak Hotel[edit]

I totally disagree with the article nomination being rejected so soon and here are my points:

1. As a reviewer you have to point me what's wrong in the article for me to repair it, you did that but you didn't put the review on hold for giving me the time to even do it.

2. The image licenses are properly tagged that reduction thing i think its wrong. Those images are essential to illustrate properly the article.

The bottom line is that I'm asking you to put the article on hold because that rejection was too immediate and the mistakes in it only take minor edits. --Gduwen (talk) 23:44, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am able to quick fail GA nominations if I believe it is no ready. As I said those images fail the WP:FAIR use rules even, they are or not "unique" or "essential". Also I said If you feel this is in error, you may request a Good article reassessment or re-nominate it. TbhotchTalk C. 23:51, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A GA review on Heartbreak Hotel is in progress and has been put on hold for an initial seven days to allow time to address issues raised. See Talk:Heartbreak Hotel/GA2. Assistance in developing the article would be welcomed. SilkTork *YES! 13:18, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thanks for your message on my page regarding this article. I have spent a little time this evening expanding some information in it, removing information that is probably inaccurate, and replacing several citations with more stable ones. I hope that what I've done is acceptable. I would love to see this article achieve GA status, and I am more than willing to put some more work into it over the next few days. I have plenty of books that I can dip into for information and citations, and I don't mind spending time cross referencing material to improve the article.
One problem I've come across is the story behind the actual writing of the song. There doesn't seem to be any doubt that Durden showed Axton the newspaper article, and Axton agrees that both of them wrote the song together, but Durden has claimed that he had already written most of it and performed it before he even approached Axton with the song. Axton denies this and suggests that her input was far greater than just adding the idea about a "Heartbreak Hotel". I was wondering if perhaps we should add a section detailing this conflict, or if its best just to leave it with the idea that both of them wrote the song harmoniously. Although, other than what I've just written above, there's not much else to tell about the conflict so it wouldn't be a very long section lol. ElvisFan1981 (talk) 19:58, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You've done a good job on the covers section. As I said on the talkpage of the article, I think that it might be a little over the top in places, but if you feel that it's important to the article because it's about the song, I don't have a problem with that. I am confident that between all of us we can get this article to GA status very soon. :) ElvisFan1981 (talk) 13:53, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just saw the work you put in on the covers section tonight. It's looking much better than it did the first time I saw it a year ago, nice job. ElvisFan1981 (talk) 22:30, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
