GA review for Tute[edit]

Hi, GDuwen, how are you? I've just finished reviewing Tute for GA. I have a number of concerns and have put the article On Hold. Just let me know when you have finished addressing the concerns. Take care, Moisejp (talk) 07:09, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again, GDuwen. Thanks for your note. I'll try to look at that link you sent me, and your changes to the article, in a couple of days. To be honest, I've had a tiring day or two in real life, and am a bit too tired to look at anything complicated today. Hopefully in a couple of days my brain will be functioning better, and I'll have another look at your article. I can't make any promises, but hopefully if we put our two heads together we can figure out a way to clarify the game instructions. I'll be in touch again in a couple of days. Talk soon, Moisejp (talk) 01:39, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi GDuwen. How's it going? I've been working away at Tute and also brought up some more issues. I'm eager to finish off this review. I've done some polishing but I still think it's got a little ways to go. Because it's a complicated game, I think we need to work on it together to get it ship shape. Moisejp (talk) 06:57, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! There are a bunch more comments for you to look at. Moisejp (talk) 05:58, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi and happy new year! I'm going to get back to the GA Review very soon. I needed a little break from it, but I've got to deal with it soon and finish it off. I have one other GA Review I have to finish off first, and then I'm not going to start any more GA reviews, I'm going to focus on yours. Talk again soon! Your GA nomination of Tute[edit]

The article Tute you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Tute for comments about the article. Well done! There is a backlog of articles waiting for review, why not help out and review a nominated article yourself? — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 10:32, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hank Williams[edit]

Hello! I posted this message on your Commons talk too. I have a quick question for you. A few months back you uploaded an image for Hank Williams. You uploaded the image under a public domain license, and it is now used on his main article page on Wikipedia. I was thinking of uploading the image of Patsy Cline from that same web page (http://www.opry.com/about/WhatIsTheOpry.html), but I'm not sure if it's also in the public domain and would be okay to upload. I was wondering if you possibly knew? I just thought it might be nice to have an acceptable image of Cline available on the wiki. ChrisTofu11961 (talk) 23:13, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ah okay I see exactly what you mean now. I think the second photo you gave me would work for Patsy's article. My only problem is, I don't know how to crop images. How do you do that exactly? ChrisTofu11961 (talk) 23:48, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your help with all of this by the way! I added the cropped version of the second image only. Here's the link to it at Wikimedia Commons: Patsy Cline. I'm not sure whether I should of uploaded the original version of the photo before I uploaded the cropped one. Also, I think I might of messed up the licensing for the photo. See if you can find any mistakes I made and let me know. They seemed to of updated their uploader on Commons and I had trouble use it. ChrisTofu11961 (talk) 00:14, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You are fantastic! Thank you so much for all of your help. ChrisTofu11961 (talk) 02:03, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It certainly does! Thanks again :) ChrisTofu11961 (talk) 23:31, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Good Article promotion[edit]

You did it again!

Non-free rationale for File:Étoile poster.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Étoile poster.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:41, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 19[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Heroes (Willie Nelson album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ray Price (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello GDuwen. A useful article. There are some areas, however, that need attention to get it to meet GA criteria. I've put on hold for an initial seven days. SilkTork ✔Tea time 00:39, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for working in the review, I'll do my best to assess your concerns.--GDuwenTell me! 20:25, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'll pop along shortly to have a look. Am suddenly busy in real life, so Wiki time is reduced, and the priority is the ArbCom stuff when I do get time here. SilkTork ✔Tea time 13:19, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Will hopefully get around to Honky Tonk later today. But there are a few other reviews I picked up which I would like to get started now I have a bit more time. One of them is another one of yours - Talk:Jailhouse Rock (film)/GA1. I've just put that on hold. So you can look at that until I get back to Honky Tonk. SilkTork ✔Tea time 16:47, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sorry for delays in dealing with your GA reviews. I've just put Waylon Jennings back into the pool, as I've held onto it for so long and I've not yet finished with the others. I'll try to get round to dealing with them as soon as possible. SilkTork ✔Tea time 12:21, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Good work on the article. I've just tidied up a bit, and it's now passing on all points apart from the lead, which you said you'd do when the rest of the stuff was done. I've left brief comments at Talk:Honky Tonk Heroes/GA1 . Give me a ping when it's done, or if you need some help. SilkTork ✔Tea time 22:35, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

All finished. Well done. SilkTork ✔Tea time 10:40, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
