Edits to Sansha lede[edit]

No one (yet) opposes inclusion of the material you newly inserted. But Benlisquare and I have moved it down. If you still are not satisfied, before reverting, please discuss at Talk:Sansha. GotR Talk 14:43, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'd just like to mention that the lede is not the place to put today's news. Things like that belong within the main article body, within a relevant section and paragraph. If we put every single "In XX July 2012, foo happened, and then bar happened" within the introductory paragraph of each article, then these articles would become messy very quickly. I would like to emphasise that articles should have quality over quantity. -- 李博杰  | Talk contribs email 14:46, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Gacma, sit down and talk instead of continuing to revert, or else you may well run the risk of edit-warring. I myself have implemented a compromise at the Paracels article by retaining a brief mention of Hanoi's and Manila's reactions. GotR Talk 19:18, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
