Introduction[edit]

Hi Girum! It's great to see that you've enrolled in the course on the Wikipedia page. According to Blackboard, we will be partners this entire semester. I look forward to working with you. Aconch (talk) 18:33, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Glad to be working with you! (Initial conversation)[edit]

Hi Girum! It's great to see that you've enrolled in the course on the Wikipedia page. According to Blackboard, we will be partners this entire semester. I look forward to working with you. Aconch (talk) 18:33, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again, Girum! I pasted/moved my original message into a "new section" of your talk page; this way, our initial conversation can have a subject/headline. I've also added your page to my "Watchlist," so if you respond to one of my messages on your "talk" page, I'll be able to follow the conversation and respond here :)
On a related note, I saw your message on my "talk" page. I think we'll get more details regarding the topics as we get closer to picking our article. Since I'll be out of state next week with minimal internet access, I've been trying to get a head-start on the assignments that are due next week. Consequently, I've been reading about the Wikipedia project milestones a little bit ahead. The good news is that the instructions are very specific once you start looking at the milestone specifications for each unit. So I think once we get to picking our topic, we'll have plenty of instruction :). Talk to you later! Aconch (talk) 19:55, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Follow-up Greeting[edit]

Hi Girum! It's been a couple of weeks since I sent you a message, so I wanted to take this opportunity to brush up on how to use the talk pages, and also, I just wanted say "hi." Just as a friendly reminder, this week's milestone requires us to have two short conversations: one on my talk page, and one on yours. I look forward to your replies! Aconch (talk) 22:49, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I also wanted to ask if you could please edit my very first post on your talk page. My first post wasn't posted under "new section", so it doesn't have a subject/headline. Could you try to add the headline? I'll do the same for the initial post that you placed my page a few weeks ago. Thanks!!! Aconch (talk) 22:56, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Girum, Thanks for making the edit! Have a good evening. Aconch (talk) 23:15, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Your welcome. Galemu2 (talk) 23:53, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Group Talk Page[edit]

Hi Girum,

I just wanted to let you know that I've posted an entry on our Group Talk page. Once you get a chance to post your individual assessment, we can discuss/decide and "claim" our article for the semester. It's first-come-first serve, so I wanted to give you a heads up by sending you this message. Look forward to talking with you! Aconch (talk) 21:21, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Revised Introduction in my sandbox[edit]

Hi Girum, I restructured the introduction using the existing text. For my contribution this week, I plan to start a new heading on the biosynthesis of one of the macromolecules that we discussed. I haven't decided which one yet, but I'll work on it tomorrow. If you can, can you please help me find a source for some of the information listed in the introduction? There are two specific sentences that need a reference; they were never referenced originally, and I think the information is factual but we need to "back it up."

The two sentences that need a source are marked in the revised Introduction in my sandbox. While you're there, please take a look at the introduction and let me know if it's okay to post on the article page. Also, feel free to add anything to it.

Thanks! Aconch (talk) 03:50, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is better now. I have tried to find some references for the three sentences. I also redid the third paragraph, with references. let me know what you think. Galemu2 (talk) 03:56, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 27[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Biosynthesis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Synthesize (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:00, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
