thanks, boss. I'll look into them. Not that anyone will notice my questioning here (and i'll go more in pursuit of info soon), but I am editing a lot of sentences by adding the comma after the year as follows:

In 1983, this happened.

I still believe that that is correct, but i do wonder if i'm not erring. any thoughts?

peace, gray b.

Please use preview button[edit]

Please refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Western betrayal. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 12:17, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that on multiple occassions you have made small copyedits to an article (such as adding a comma or a semi-colon), and then accidentally removed 80% of the content in the process. Please be more careful and make use of the "Preview" button before comitting your changes. Thanks! Can't sleep, clown will eat me 12:18, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Some examples where you mistakenly removed content include Western betrayel [1] and Coca-Cola [2]. Again, this can be easily avoided by using the preview button to see the differences you have made before committing the change. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 12:23, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Again, thank you, can't sleep. I'm much obliged. --Gbinal 12:29, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm not sure how it is happening that so much content is being erased, but if you use the preview button first just to double check, then you will see what effect you are making on the article before it goes into effect. If you want to verify your previous contributions, just click on "my contributions" in the upper right hand corner. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 12:33, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, boss. --Gbinal 12:34, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
:Hi, Gbinal....As Can't sleep says, if you click on the 'my contributions' link at the top of your window you will get a list of anything that you have changed. By the side of each of these there's a 'diff' link which gives you a summary of the changes, so you can look for any tell tale signs of mass deletion. Good luck with checking this out, hope you don't find too many problems. On a positive note, it's good to see someone working on phraseology and clumsy grammar to improve articles, but obviously when making multiple small changes it's worth checking that the baby hasn't gone out with the bath water. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
