Disputed fair use rationale for Image:CLC-logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:CLC-logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:31, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Church of the Lutheran Confessions article[edit]

Hi Goster. Please be aware that what the CLC considers not to be a reliable source may not the same as the Wikipedia community does. In those situations it's best to add to the article with appropriate sourcing. I've added a sentence to the Church of the Lutheran Confession article that at least to some extent indicates the CLC position.

On a more serious note, the fact that you are the CLC webmaster means that you have a conflict of interest which affects how you can edit certain articles on Wikipedia. Please read WP:COI for details. In particular, removing material just because it disagrees with your employer's views is not allowed. In the future it would be better if you post the changes, with appropriate references, you would like to make to the CLC article to the article's talk page, requesting that another editor make the change.
