edit war[edit]

Do not edit war, you were bold, it was reverted. Go to the talk page and discuss it. See WP:BRD. Also see WP:ELNO pont #12. GB fan 00:25, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You are not discussing it anywhere, just edit warring. GB fan 00:36, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm discussing it in edit summary.Gregorygoyle (talk) 00:37, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That is not a discussion, discussions happen on talk pages. GB fan 00:39, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

On the off chance you're just completely ignorant of what you're adding[edit]

The only pages on the wikia you're linking to (beyond the page you're directly linking to) are "Philadelphia (Penns Landing)" and "New York City". Both links consist of nothing but Youtube videos of just ceiling fans. If you would like to pretend that that site has any other information, you're dead wrong. There is also no proof that it is an official site, or even an "official fan site."

The videos only show ceiling fans. Anything else is purely incidental background. They do not let anyone know what it's like inside a Dave & Buster's, they do not tell anyone about what sort of food, games, or clientele they have; they do not tell anyone about the history or locations of the restaurant -- they are useless videos of ceiling fans. No person without serious brain damage can watch the videos without reaching that conclusion (pretending for a moment here that you're not just another sock of Daveandbusters1345, and that you might not have actually watched the videos).

The article "Dave & Buster's" is about the restaurant chain Dave & Buster's, not ceiling fans. Not even ceiling fans inside Dave & Buster's. No sane person without an unhealthy obsession with ceiling fans would need to keep readding those (again, pretending you're not just another sock of Daveandbusters1345). Well, the page Dave & Buster's did have youtube links at some point. Should it be deleted? Gregorygoyle (talk) 00:56, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We took down the links to the youtube videos and blocked the git who put them up. Your argument fails basic logic and lacks an understanding of the progression of time. Ian.thomson (talk) 01:00, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
No The article shouldn't be deleted because they used to be there but if they are added back, they will be removed off the page. That wikia page is not a useful page to help understand Dave and Busters so it is not needed on the article. GB fan 01:01, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Admin of that wiki just didn't fix that. Gregorygoyle (talk) 01:05, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Dave & Buster's. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Lord Roem ~ (talk) 01:06, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
