May 2014[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user page may not meet Wikipedia's user page guideline because it resembles a resume or is self-promotional (see WP:UPNOT). If you believe that your user page does not violate our guideline, please leave a note on this page. Alternatively you may add {{Db-userreq}} to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, or you can simply edit the page so that it meets Wikipedia's user page guideline. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 22:10, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

When I created my user page, I thought I should try to write an encyclopedia style of self-biography.. and I strongly believe it does not violate the guidelines, and is not self-promotional. I have tried to write it in a way that this may become the Wikipedia page of "my name" when the time comes that my profile meets the notability requirement. It may look like a resume, but the contents are related to different aspects of my own life, and is not geared towards landing a job or any income-generating involvement. A tag has been placed on User:Guevarra.jayson, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. bonadea contributions talk 07:52, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... I have stated before, and I quote: "When I created my user page, I thought I should try to write an encyclopedia style of self-biography.. and I strongly believe it does not violate the guidelines, and is not self-promotional. I have tried to write it in a way that this may become the Wikipedia page of "my name" when the time comes that my profile meets the notability requirement. It may look like a resume, but the contents are related to different aspects of my own life, and is not geared towards landing a job or any income-generating involvement." I believe I have passed the scrutiny of other editors earlier, and I don't have new items added nor changed in my user page, so I don't see why the nomination again. --Guevarra.jayson 10:15, 11 March 2015 (UTC)

Terms of use[edit]

Jayson - Please note the the terms of use have changed in the last year. Specifically, the section on "Paid contributions without disclosure". You must now disclose your paid COI when editing; for example, executing odesk jobs or adding spam links you have an interest in. I've cleaned up some recent edits which are clearly promotional. Please do not repeat this. Kuru (talk) 03:48, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanks for the reminders. I have not executed anything for paid inclusion(s), via odesk which is now upwork, and any other freelancing websites, or for any entity paying me. 202.57.35.162 (talk) 04:04, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
