Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 11:47, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

your reason here = Clemency - Understand the initiative why I was blocked, it was incompatible with Wikipedia policy. Request redemption, I have read up on Wikipedia's policies. I was new and inexperienced, which led me to inadvertently go against Wikepedia's policies. Apologies.

Decline reason:

Your conduct shows a pattern that it was not inadvertent disruption; it was intentional. That said, I would consider an unblock request if you included a specific example of an edit you'd make if unblocked, complete with reliable sources that would support the change. —C.Fred (talk) 16:28, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I would add referneces of persons to the #REDIRECT Younger (surname) page, for example, the Viscounts of Leckie — Preceding unsigned comment added by H S. Leonard (talkcontribs) 19:58, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not immediately going to reject your request. However, you need to do two things in your next request:
  1. You need to indicate a specific edit to the text of an article, not just adding something to a list.
  2. You need to properly format your request. This means properly using templates, links (not redirect code), and signing your own name to your message.
If you are unable to do both of those things, then expect to remain blocked, at least for the next six months or so. —C.Fred (talk) 20:05, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have taken note of your comments, thank you. I have noticed that there are several spell check areas on this page, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and I believe I can solve these simple English misspellings.

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

H S. Leonard (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Please provide a reason as to why you should be unblocked.
Change {{unblock}} to {{unblock | reason=your reason here ~~~~}}

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2= |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1= |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1= |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}

That's not quite what I was looking for. Can you be specific about spelling errors? —C.Fred (talk) 20:29, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@C.Fred (user): Yes, regarding, several articles not being capitalised, they are proper nouns, for example, Yugolsavia is not capitilised throughout the page H S. Leonard (talk) 20:53, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I just checked the page. Every instance of Yugoslavia in the text is capitalized. —C.Fred (talk) 21:11, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@C.Fred (user): Apologies, however, I did think there were instances. You have made a point, however, to be unblocked there does not need to be sufficent grounds that I action edits in the near future, merely, that I can. My contributions were also significant, I petitioned for a number of high-ranking UK polticians to have semi-protected pages, it was turned down, however, this was counter to vandalism and followed Wikepedian guildlines. I admit, I stepped out of line, but I was new, and have learnt. And know future warnings about being blocked and its on the record. H S. Leonard (talk) 00:49, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@H S. Leonard: it's best if you only request to be unblocked at one place at a time. Otherwise, people might think you're forum shopping. It seems that you're primarily interested in British politics. To follow up on C.Fred's suggestions, I would recommend that you give us some idea of a substantive change that you would make to a page. Not typos, not cleanup, but actual improvements to a page that you're interested in. Show us how Wikipedia would benefit from unblocking you. ST47 (talk) 00:57, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@ST47: Thank you, will do. Only asked for unblocks on my talk page though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by H S. Leonard (talkcontribs)

@ST47 and C.Fred (user): To be honest, this isnt a major edit, however, I am good at picking out fine details in articles and making them more accurate. From the Dundee United F.C in the introduction (extract located in the first few paragraphs, "The club's main rivals are Dundee. The two teams contest the Dundee derby, with the local rivals' Dens Park stadium being located virtually next door to Tannadice Park" I would state that they are 0.2 miles away making them the closest stadiums in Europe[1] with a reference, this is also supproted by many other sources on the web. Refering to them as virtually next door is not the most accurate as it could range from the stadiums being back to back to at least 1 mile.H S. Leonard (talk) 01:28, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In regards to this text: "My contributions were also significant, I petitioned for a number of high-ranking UK polticians to have semi-protected pages..."
Why, then, did you turn around and vandalize those pages after protection was not applied? Were you disrupting Wikipedia to make a point? —C.Fred (talk) 02:18, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@C.Fred (user):I was correcting what I belived to be facts, some of my contributions were taken on board H S. Leonard (talk) 02:25, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Is this what you think is a good edit full of facts? —C.Fred (talk) 02:30, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
