September 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Mitchelstown has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you.  – iridescent 22:29, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I fail to see how my edit was unconstructive. Morgan Whelan is well known throughout Ireland.

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Mitchelstown. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Enigma message 00:21, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Try to edit more constructively. You added information to the Rachelle Leah article that was already included. I removed the content and said why in an edit summary. Then you added the same information back by reverting my edit. Please be more careful. Chicken Wing (talk) 07:37, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

October 2008[edit]

Regarding your edit to Rachelle Leah, putting the information at the end of the article so people don't have to read the article again is not how an encyclopedia is written. Secondly, you need a source. Regarding your edits to people's talk pages, try to use more civility in your tone. I recommend you read up on civility, citing sources, and signing your talk page posts. Chicken Wing (talk) 18:00, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm only trying to keep you out of trouble and help you be a more productive editor. Unsourced editing will result in your edits continually being reverted, and incivility on talk pages can result in having your editing privileges taken away. Chicken Wing (talk) 02:10, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the article Rachelle Leah has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you. Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:25, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
