Helmet Live Recordings[edit]

A list of live recordings is not appropriate for a Wikipedia article. Please take a look at the Talk:Helmet (band) page and note the WP:INDISCRIMINATE policy. I will continue to revert this unless you can give me a good reason why this info should be included on the page (and I don't think there is one). hellboy (talk) 00:50, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can you at least please make some kind of attempt to join the conversation regarding this problem, so that we can come to some sort of agreement here? The consensus so far is that this information is not relevant. I will be contacting the editors of this site in regards to this issue, and ask them for a second opinion on the matter. hellboy (talk) 01:08, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

jeez, i wrote it into the edit notes. the band allows bootlegs. why is a list of helmet live recordings not appropriate for a helmet wiki page? wher else is this supposed to go? why are you so keen on reducing the info? whats the worlds profit of deleting that over having it?

Just because the band allows bootlegs doesn't make it a good reason for the info to appear here, you don't see a list of every live show on this site do you?.
As discussed in Talk:Helmet (band), the reasons I believe this content to be in appropriate are:
As far as I see it, the list of live recordings violates WP:INDISCRIMINATE in particular section 4 which reads Statistics. Long and sprawling lists of statistics may be confusing to readers and reduce the readability and neatness of our articles. I'd suggest it probably also violates WP:NOT#LINK and WP:NOT#DIRECTORY. I agree completely with Lazytiger, a fan site, not Wikipedia is the ideal place for this kind of information.
If you want to discuss this further, then this is the wrong place, please let you point of view be known at the Talk:Helmet (band) page.
Anyway, that's my point of view, and I may be wrong, but I have asked an editor to comment on the issue, and I'll be happy to go with their recommendation. hellboy (talk) 01:52, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Clawfinger Live Roskilde 1994[edit]

The article Clawfinger Live Roskilde 1994 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable unofficial album, fails WP:NALBUMS

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Tassedethe (talk) 09:41, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
