BEEP[edit]

Sections...[edit]

Any idea where we can find up to date information for the sections of all the charters (including closed schools). That has been my primary reason for *not* updating the regions/sections after the realignment.Naraht (talk) 13:50, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There's a list of section boundaries by county somewhere. I think it's in the Board Policy Manual. Henrymrx (t·c) 00:33, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And then trying for every school with an inactive chapter what county they were in, ick. I *hope* nationals has that sitting somewhere, they certainly did for the old sections.Naraht (talk) 02:46, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We may have to figure out the counties for a few, but honestly, it should only be the ones that are borderline. I think we'll be able to figure most of them out without too much trouble. Henrymrx (t·c) 02:49, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I used the example of Gallaudet as one of the easy ones. For starters I think we can assume that any two charters in the same city are in the same section.Naraht (talk) 10:44, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My list[edit]

I took the list I generated from the file and placed it at Talk:List of Alpha Phi Omega chapters/section. I'll keep working from there, you can work from it as well if you want. I'll put here where I'm working or not. I'm actually heading into the office today, so I'm not sure I'll be doing it or not. I'm going to do this in no more than one "series" chunks (all the chapters staring with Gamma for example).Naraht (talk) 10:44, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think I can get through some of them today. Keeping track of which ones changed state, I'll go back and check on those for grey/italics and the chronological list later.Naraht (talk) 14:13, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pitt Bradford[edit]

Alpha Beta Rho at Pitt Bradford is in Region Q (which is upstate New York) not Region O (which is most of PA outside of Philly). I've need that "notch" before and I was wondering what chapter caused that notch. Doesn't surprise me much, they are closer to Buffalo. Of course, by that logic Frostburg shouldn't have screamed bloody murder that they weren't in Region N in the original plan.Naraht (talk) 17:32, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

They were still playing with the map fairly late in the process, so much so that WVU came to a Region III NCPC in November '18 at JMU, since they knew they might be drawn in with either the N or M chapters. Henrymrx (t·c) 17:38, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
