IMDB[edit]

IMDB is not an acceptable source to use as an in-line reference. I can be used in the list of External Links in some situations, but it is not a WP:RS. -- Ssilvers (talk) 01:13, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There are currently two IMDB references on the page for Haddon Hall. I suspected there might be an objection to IMDB, so I specifically checked for existing refs to that site before making my edit, and found those two. If IMDB is not an acceptable source to use as an in-line reference then maybe you'll want to address those other two refs as well. Hovig (talk) 01:43, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the message. The best place to post about an article, such as Haddon Hall is on the article's own Talk page: Talk:Haddon Hall. The IMDB link in the External Links section is OK. The link further above, in the article text, however, is not acceptable. -- Ssilvers (talk) 19:13, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Ssilvers: Thanks for the update. Feel free to delete my message from your talk page. (Or I can do it if you'd prefer.) Cheers. Hovig (talk) 14:53, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
