I don't understand your reasoning and I don't think you understand how Wikipedia articles are meant to be structured. All articles must have a lede which act as a summary of the entire article. Songs of Innocence

Hi HurluGumene, I saw your edit note questioning why only one release date is included in the infobox. This is a standard format that all articles under the Albums WikiProject are supposed to follow. According to the appropriate style guide "Albums are often released on different dates, on different labels, and on different formats in different regions. This information can be included in a table. Note that the infobox should only include the first release date and label." Basically the later release dates can be included in the article, but only the first day on which the album was released should be noted in the infobox. This is because once it is released in one manner it can be obtained anywhere, even if later releases of the same material are also planned. This is why reissues and expanded releases are also not typically included in the infobox. I hope this helps answer your question. Happy editing! Hi, the members' page has used that format for a number of years, so if you want to suggest changes, please use the talk page, like everyone else does. Also, it is not true that any of those former members were temporary. All were considered permanent at the time, according to the sources. One that is not clear is Paul Matters, who is currently listed as a temporary member. Lemmy is originally from England, but moved to LA in 1990 permanently, becoming a US Greencard permanent resident

Phil Campbel is Welsh, not English, and has continuously lived in Wales (joined 1984)

Mikkey Dee is Swedish, not English, and has continuously lived in Sweden (joined 1991)

Previous lineups:

Michael Burston is English, but moved to LA in 1990, and left the band in 1995 (11 years in the band)

Eddie Clarke is English, but left the band in 1982 (7 years in the band)

Phil Taylor is English, but left the band in 1984, moved to LA in 1990 after rejoining the band in 1987, and since leaving the band in 1991, returned to England (10 years in the band)

Brian Roberston is Scottish, and left the band in 1984 with Phil Taylor (18 months in the band)

Pete Gill is English and left the band in 1985 (2 years in the band)

They have been an International band 2/3 of its life, the English moniker stopped in 1986, 11 years after Lemmy started the band, and consisted of International members for 25 years, and was not based in England since 1988, 13 years after Lemmy started the band.

You can't support the article only with Adam Young's own publications (that's what's called WP:PRIMARY sources). You need WP:SECONDARY sources to support its notability. Acoustic

Hi, i have reverted your changes on Acoustic (Simple Minds album). You write that Acoustic is "not a studio album of original material". An album consisting of non-original material can still be a studio album, because the songs have not been previously released (example: Aquostic (Stripped Bare)). Wikipedia defines a compilation album as being "compiled from other recordings, either previously released or unreleased." The songs on Acoustic have not been previously released, but are instead (newly) recorded (in a studio) for this project. Also, you write that "This is a cover (studio) album". And it does. But that does not mean every other studio album should say 'original material'. That generally speaks for itself. Only if it is a specific covers album does it need to say so, see for instance Honkin' on Bobo. If the album contains both, like Please Please Me, it does not apply. As it was not the intention of the artist to release a covers album, and the secondary sources do not describe it as such. I totally disagree! Anyway, the words "of original material" are in brackets. What's the problem? Besides, IT WAS the intention of the artist (Simple Minds or Rolling Stones) to release a covers album! Finally, Eric Clapton 's Unplugged is a covers live album, not a studio one. I respect your opinion. However, the sources need to be your guide on this. Do the reviews highlight that these albums consist of 'original material' as opposed to covers? As by inserting 'original material', it suggests that the artist largely records other people's material. The Rolling Stones indeed intended to release a covers album and that is mentioned, similar to Honkin' on Bobo. The Acoustic album by the Simple Minds is described as such, with only the Richard Hawley song described as a cover in the reviews. And the Clapton live Unplugged album falls into the similar bracket as Please Please Me where a number of songs were blues covers. That is different to From the cradle which is a covers album and referred to as such in the sources. If not, then it has no place in the article, as it falls in the original research bracket.
