Travis Walton[edit]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not add material supported by personal blogs, or any other website or source of which you're the author, which Cameron Scott mentioned in his previous messages to you here.

Sites whose content is user-generated, such as blogs, personal websites, wikis, imdb, etc., are not permitted as sources because they are not credentialed, nor have editorial control over their content, and adding material that you yourself have originated is not permitted because Original Research is prohibited, as are edits that may be autobiographical or represent a conflict of interest. Thank you. Nightscream (talk) 08:41, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

9/11 conspiracy theories[edit]

This is your final warning. The next time you attempt to promote your own site, or cite yourself as a source in articles, as you did with this edit to 9/11 conspiracy theories, you will be blocked from editing. Thank you. Nightscream (talk) 17:02, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Citing your own website[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for numerous violations of WP:IRS and WP:COI, and ignoring repeated warnings to cease, the most recent violations being the following edits to Google Maps and Windows 8. Wikipedia is is not a platform for editors to promote themselves or their personal, non-credentialed websites, and citing oneself as a source is a clear violation of Wikipedia policy. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
