lighting energy[edit]

thanks for your response on that talk page. i am mostly familiar with my own case studies in california buildings, where we have seen lighting energy vary between 25 and 60 percent of the total energy bill (including heating and cooling and gas usage) perhaps the east coast distorts the national averages since they have higher winter gas and oil heating costs...im perplexed but this is a very important issue...any further enlihgtenment you have would be helpful since i am planning to write further articles on lighting energy design and conseration. regards Anlace 18:08, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Energy Saving Modules[edit]

Hi InNuce,

Thanks for your introdution and comments. I am just trying to cover basic information on what is gernerally felt to be an important energy saving technology that has become widely used, in the UK and Australia. ESM's reduce a vast amount of otherwise wasted energy a fact substatiated by independent research(Battelle Labs). As such ESM's offer a fast commercial payback, which is vital if a green approach is to be adopted widely by industry. Examples in context are key to increasing an understanding of such technologies so that all may benefit. If you feel you are better placed to introduce suitable impartial examples to wikipedia, or have further knowlegde of the technology I welcome your input.
