Brisbane Montage[edit]

I'm having trouble dealing with a person on here who keeps trying to take down any of the new montages, and he keeps reverting it to his own crappy versions or the original 2013 one which looks terrible and dated. I asked for consensus on the talk page regarding my own version and you were the only commenter and you accepted my own as the better alternative, now I'm willing to work with Subtropical-Man but he seems extremely obtuse or he doesn't understand English very well, and so he just keeps threatening me to be banned for "vandalizing" the Brisbane page, saying my CBD skyline image is 4 years dated, yes it dates from 2014 but its the only free CBD image I've found that doesn't make our skyline look like complete sh*t. I hope you can comment on the Brisbane talk page and help me out, I've also noticed Subtropical-man seems to have a "monopoly" over the Sydney article montage as well, or at least he keeps shutting people down from putting one up.--Caltraser55 (talk) 01:28, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It's lies. I'm not reverting to "own crappy versions", I added own photocollage with template [1] one time! and Caltraser55 reverted it. Next lies: "just keeps threatening me to be banned for "vandalizing" the Brisbane page" - many times I explained to him what was going on: warnings concerns: personall attacks, edit-warring, pushing own new changes, break some Wikipedia rules, including Wikipedia:CYCLE and Wikipedia:Consensus. Monopoly? No! Rules of Wikipedia. If there are doubts about graphics, everyone has the right to undo new changes to previous graphic -> and later: discuss and wait for consensus. Simply. But not for @Caltraser55:. He do not want to understand the basic rules, he want only push own version to article. Subtropical-man (talk / en-2) 02:09, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You need to come to a consensus with support from Subtropical-man. He seems happy for the montage to change if you're willing compromise. I'm happy for it to change as well, but if not everyone agrees on how it should change, then we need to reach a compromise. Inkfoot (talk) 06:50, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The personal attacks he is referring to was when I said he had a sockpuppet account, since another user MrGeneric299 types exactly like Subtropical-Man and also consistently tried to put up his own montage over mine and called my main CBD image bad, the reversion he is talking about is when I put up my montage in the talk page for two weeks, and I had one supporter and no objections to my montage so I decided after 2 weeks to put mine up, which Subtropical-Man then reverted and decided (without any conversation on the talk page) to put up his own montage over mine which I found to be pretty annoying since I waited two weeks and only one person commented, but apparently that's not consensus. I've tried reaching a compromise, but Subtropical-Man doesn't seem interested.--Caltraser55 (talk) 11:45, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Caltraser55: MrGeneric299 promoting and push own photocollage (file) like as you. For me there is no difference whether you or him. After two weeks I spoke in the discussion, under the post Inkfoot, I expressed my opposition and wrote what is wrong but you create new edit-war because Inkfoot supported your graphics (despite the fact that he also wrote what needs to be changed!!!). Sorry, but one support is not consensus. When it comes to personal attacks, you did a few times and these not only groundless accusations of sockpuppet (your first post on this page is also personal attack). The problem is that your account is mainly used for controversial changes and pushing your graphics including edit-warring, personal attacks, break the rules of the Wikipedia and even... writing vulgarisms (see above). So, stop making excuses and focus on consensus instead writes nonsenses. Subtropical-man (talk / en-2) 13:28, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
