Flag Institute

Hi there, you have recently made several edits to the page Flag Institute. Having looked at them, they place the page even further down the rabbit hole of the multiple issues referred to at the top of the page. There is no official source contradicting the MoD's and College of Arm's role as official flag bodies, and equally no official sources that show the Flag Institute has such a role. Obviously links from the 'APPG on Flags' does not count. Similarly, you have reverted many edits that placed the charity's unofficial status clear in context without reason. As has been discussed on the article's talk page, there are multiple issues with the article, such as you reverting the page to mention marketing for the charity in the form of its 'campaigning'. Capitals

MOS:JOBTITLES is a bad policy IMHO. It ignores the rules of English and reduces readability. But, regardless, in this case it agrees with me:

When a formal title for a specific entity (or conventional translation thereof) is addressed as a title or position in and of itself, is not plural, is not preceded by a modifier (including a definite or indefinite article), and is not a reworded description

In both cases, they're addressed as positions in and of itself, not plural and not preceded by modifiers. Inops (talk) 21:09, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

Those guidelines are difficult for me to get my head around, but I am led to believe that the quote from the article satisfies all of that and that it is capitalised.
