At the top of the Wikipedia page about me, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Brezsny, it currently says:

"This article may have been created or edited in return for undisclosed payments, a violation of Wikipedia's terms of use. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies."

It is absolutely untrue that there have been payments from me to anyone to create or edit this page. Please remove this incorrect remark.

@Drmies: Well the disputed additions were promotional, editwarred over and the article does need cleanup, but since no Wikipedian is in a position to prove anything (we're not the FBI/CIA/NSA, after all) the template says "may have been". Incorrect and defamatory note on the Wikipedia page about me[edit]

On the Wikipedia page about me at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Brezsny, there is a statement at top that goes as follows:

"This article may have been created or edited in return for undisclosed payments, a violation of Wikipedia's terms of use. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies."

It is absolutely untrue that there have been payments from me to anyone to create or edit this page. Please remove this incorrect and defamatory statement.

It was not defamatory, but thank you for clearing that up. I'll gladly take your word for it--though this begs the question of your relationship with Skyerise, who said you contacted them, in this edit. Do you know them? Did you just pick a random Wikipedia editor? Anyway, since so many editors and administrators have looked at the article as a result of your post on the noticeboard, there is no doubt that neutral editing according to Wikipedia guidelines is taking place. Note to Drmies: Thanks for removing that incorrect information. I want to respond to your recent comment about Skyerise. In fact, I did not contact him/her. (Not sure what gender he/she is.) He/she contacted me through my Facebook page. I certainly didn't offer him/her anything, and didn't even encourage him/her to edit the Wikipedia page about me. - Rob Brezsny

P.S. I'm sure that Skyerise would agree with my account of what happened. Please ask her/him if you like. On July 15, I made a post on my Facebook page saying that after many years, my Wikipedia page was being edited. Skyerise, who had never before commented on my FB page as far as I know, showed up and made some comments under my post, basically saying that the edits that had been made on my page were sensible and in accordance with Wikipedia policy. We then had a brief back and forth. I never asked her/him to take any action at all in editing my Wikipedia page.

Talk pages[edit]

Hi. I saw your post at AN/I asking about where to put your comments. This help page may make things a little clearer.

The short version: Put your post below the one you're replying to. (Don't cut someone else's post in half responding to different bits; this is called refactoring and people really don't like it.) Use colons to indent your comments if you're replying to someone. Each new reply gets a colon added, making it indent one more step. If you replied to me here, for example, you'd use one colon (because I haven't used any), and if I replied to you after that, I'd use two. Sign each post with four tildes ~~~~. Hope this helps.
