Speedy deletion of NABARRO LLP[edit]

A tag has been placed on NABARRO LLP, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. KurtRaschke (talk) 15:11, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

November 2008[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with NABARRO LLP. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. KurtRaschke (talk) 15:14, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with NABARRO LLP. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. KurtRaschke (talk) 15:17, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added a {{hangon}} template to an article, NABARRO LLP. In order for an administrator to evaluate whether the article should be speedy deleted or not, we request that you provide reasoning, on the article's talk page, for why it should remain. Thank you. AfD nomination of NABARRO LLP[edit]

I have nominated NABARRO LLP, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/NABARRO LLP. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. March 2009[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. 16x9 (talk) 14:01, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Nabarro LLP, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. A tag has been placed on Bindmans llp requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi Indendance13 -- I'd say this firm is almost certainly notable enough for inclusion in Wikipedia/ However, you need to write the article in your own words -- simply copying-and-pasting and switching a few words around isn't enough. Cheers --Rlandmann (talk) 13:11, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Scorer.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Scorer.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Intendance (Digital Web Agency) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. - Burpelson AFB 17:42, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended or used for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.

Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, celebrity or other well-known individual, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but it is considered inappropriate for such groups to use Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See WP:FAQ/Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, or organization. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

You are still welcome to write about something other than your company or organization. If you do intend to make useful contributions on some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, please see how to appeal a block.

Orphaned non-free image File:Intendance logo.gif[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Intendance logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. - Burpelson AFB 18:08, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I started took over from another guy who used to post using this username at work and he didn't understand/follow the rules of wikipedia correctly. I am aware of the requirements and understand the rules very well. He used to post more public awareness type articles were I know it's only to state notable companies, people, events and not self promotion. Please allow the the new username and the proper guidelines will be followed

Decline reason:

The proposed name still involves your company name. Also, please answer the questions below. Favonian (talk) 10:21, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Favonian (talk) 10:21, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Intendance13 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I do understand that the username cannot involve the company name. I request "yourjourneyrealised" as the new one. I do understand that Wiki is an encyclopedia and not a business directory. I have read the conflict of interest info and understand that an encylopedia article must have a subject to be considered to be notable. Your comment "Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above" is not needed for I have already stated that I am someone else who understands these rules so please give me a chance. Thank you.

Decline reason:

No, for at least two reasons. First of all, we don't get to share accounts; if you're not the original person using User:Intendance13, then you should not be using the account at all. Second, almost all of your edits have been in the service of promoting clients of Intendance Ltd; this is an unacceptable conflict of interest. --jpgordon::==( o ) 15:56, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Thank you Jpgordon for your reply. I greatly value your input. I wanted to setup a new account and write about other articles but THIS IP IS BLOCKED. Can you then just at least unblock this IP? I wanted to use the old account because I didn't want to flood Wiki with another new account. I thought it would of been for the better. Also I have mentioned it MANY times that this account was used without good knowledge of Wiki. I just logged in now and I wanted to bring my experience of over 4 years of Wiki article writing to this site. Please release the ip so I can setup and login to my own account like you suggest.

Decline reason:

What would you like to write about, then? Do you realise that it would be a very, very bad idea for you to continue writing about Intendance Ltd? Do you understand that we don't allow shared accounts or usernames that imply you represent a company or organisation and that Wikipedia is not a soapbox? If you can persuade me that you want to contribute constructively, I'll consider lifting the autoblock on your IP. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 17:07, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
