Thanks for uploading File:Winphonemarketplace.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

License tagging for File:Metro UI.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Metro UI.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Thank You

I'd like to thank you for your help and dedication on the Windows Phone 7 page. It was a horrible mess, and I don't think some of the editors were going to be swayed to allow for improvement by me alone (as was basically the case when I worked on the KIN page). I think the page still needs a lot of work, and when the OS comes out, we could be right back where we started, but for now, I think the page is presentable, and it wouldn't have been possible without editors like you working on the page. Windows Phone 8

Hi.

Regarding your recent edit to Template:Microsoft Windows family, you should know that we have already had discussions that claimed Windows Phone 8 is an edition of Windows 8 or, like your recent edit, it is a desktop OS and part of Windows NT family. Such allegations always have failed to satisfy the participants of the discussion and never achieved any consensus. In addition, such a claim in navbox needs reference-supported mention in all relevant articles.

If you wish to reinstate your edit, I advise you to put it to discussion first and be prepared to produce very reliable sources.

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, Interframe. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process.
