Block templates and archiving

I don't always use the same block templates. {{Block}} and {{test5}} come in a different format ... there's no reason, I think, to keep using the same ones; the operative aspect of a block template is the big white X on the red octagon, not the box color.

As for my page, usually when it gets to somewhere around 200-250 sections I archive it (once it got all the way up to 365)). Daniel Case (talk) 20:00, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

I see you're aware of your program "that censors the internet". Please stop changing pages with it, as at Leopard. There, you also incorrectly changed the map caption: yellow is used for areas where the range is "uncertain" and two shades of green for the present range. —innotata 19:55, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Too harsh

I'm sorry that my latest edit comment on the Mohombi article was a bit too harsh. I apologize. But this is getting a bit tiresome now. Adding the image you did now last is a just another copyright violation because, on that particular article, it is not "solely to illustrate the audio recording in question" which is an absolute requirement for that image to be used. Please try to find a free image of Mr. Moupondo to add to his bio article if you are dissatisfied with the old one, to the point that you keep trying to change it from time to time! Until then, could you please stop adding images that are not clearly free for use there? Cordially, SergeWoodzing (talk) 12:20, 27 May 2012 (UTC)

ok, i'll just leave Mohombi's image alone. Jawadreventon (talk) 18:07, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanx - and thank you also for all the good work you do! SergeWoodzing (talk) 11:41, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Jawadreventon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, file description page, file talk page, MediaWiki page, MediaWiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, user talk or special page from the main/article space.

If you can fix the redirect to point to a mainspace page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you are fixing the redirect. If you think the redirect should be retained as is for some reason, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DASHBot (talk) 00:12, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

sorry about that. i did not know about that rule. Jawadreventon (talk) 13:28, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

subst

Please stop subst'ing templates. Most of those edits of yours serve only to make the pages harder to edit, more susceptible to subtle vandalism, and harder to propagate improved template features. You can always look at a template's page itself to see whether it specifically recommends subst'ing it. DMacks (talk) 19:31, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

ok i'll stop but how does it make pages harder to edit? Jawadreventon (talk) 19:33, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
Changing material simply involves changing the parameter value, rather than figuring out what the effects of the parameter are (what content changes in possibly multiple places, what icons and other calculated results need to be altered, etc.). And editing the page in general means that much more gibberish (formatting and layout coding, etc.) I need to scroll through to find the actual content to edit. Substitution of templates

Hi, re edits such as [1]; [2]; [3]; and several others. Please do not substitute templates unless there is good reason to do so, such as a template which has been designed to be substituted when used. Many templates - including {{Commons category}}; {{edit protected}}; {{edit semi-protected}}; {{pp-semi-blp}}; {{Use mdy dates}} are not intended for substitution. --Redrose64 (talk) 19:32, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Image on talk-page

Please undo this edit of yours. It is forbidden by wikipedia policy to place non-free images in userspace as you did. DMacks (talk) 18:55, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Done :) Jawadreventon (talk) 18:57, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the prompt action! DMacks (talk) 18:58, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

August 2012

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at edIT (musician). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. 123.225.77.174 (talk) 01:14, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

why is adding edIT's appearence in Need for Speed: Nitro disruptive? dont giving me warning templates. they are not valid. i added a source outside wikipedia. Jawadreventon (talk) 18:06, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:Jawadreventon. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

Even after I said "See WP:CIRCULAR," You used articles from Wikipedia as sources and added unreferenced or poorly referenced information again. That's why I'm warning you.

Anyway, "a source outside wikipedia" is not enough. The source you added is a self-published source. Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable sources. 118.8.23.204 (talk) 04:05, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

how about i dont edit edIT anymore. that will solve all this problem. Jawadreventon (talk) 14:58, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
I got it. 123.225.42.243 (talk) 15:13, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
