Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Sarah Palin. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Wikipedia page, must include proper sources. Thank you. Elliskev 15:36, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lightning[edit]

We have three images in the article already which already demonstrate the text very well. However the images you're adding over crowds the article, already demonstrates what the other images are doing/trying to display and the article has enough images (Infact I'm about to remove some other images). Also File:Lightning strike base.jpg and File:Lightning strike close-up.jpg have no descriptions, source (would be own work if it was photographed by yourself) and the author (person who took the photograph) so they can't be transferred to Commons where they would best be located at. Please note as well that uploading images is a service we are grateful for, but does not give you special use rights them or ability to control their use. You may suggest changes and seek consensus on the talk page for certain uses, but overcrowding the page isn't helping anyone. There may be merit in having a gallery of images to control the number of them in the article a bit better - this would be worth discussing on talk:lightning. File source problem with File:Lightning strike base.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Lightning strike base.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:46, 16 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Bidgee (talk) 00:46, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
