Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Robert Wadlow, you may be blocked from editing. jBot-42 23:40, 10 December 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by JBot-42 (talkcontribs)

Fine, I'm just sick and tired of having to undo edits like that. After all, we usually have to wait until we get an official source saying they've split or come back and start feuding, etc. Plus, another user and I discussed this very matter on the WP:PW talk page recently. Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Mokomichi Hayami. Thank you. DAJF (talk) 23:42, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@DAJF: may I ask how adding someone's height is "controversial"? CrashUnderride 23:53, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It's controversial if it adds unverified/unsourced personal details to an article about a living person. --DAJF (talk) 23:59, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@DAJF: What do you mean unverified or unsourced? You can just search for his height on Google, and it will appear.John4789 (talk) 00:04, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It was not accompanied by a source, and it is the obligation of the editor adding such information to provide a source, as per WP:BURDEN. I'm afraid it's not acceptable to say "you can check this on Google". --DAJF (talk) 00:14, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well I know that. I've been editing since 2007. But you made me curious by saying it was controversial. CrashUnderride 00:34, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
