I thought your article on Urban Rail Transit in Africa took a vast topic and subdivided it into manageable pieces. The writing was clear and this helped make the dense information digestible. Although countries were grouped into regions, I found myself wishing for a map to refer to since so many countries were covered. Where applicable, it might be interesting to explore how colonizer nations contributed to infrastructure growth across countries which they had colonized. For example, I saw that you mentioned France’s role in the subsections for Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco. I am curious if there are similarities in how France worked with these nations.
